Celebrating Vision and Smiles

at Special Olympics World Games 2015

Essilor celebrates it's 13th year partnership with Special Olympics

Essilor and the Essilor Vision Foundation provided smiles in more ways than one at the Special Olympics World Games 2015, where senior officials from both organisations payed tribute to winning athletes and to the many volunteers around the world who have contributed to improving the sight and lives of over 150,000 athletes.

CB_AAV_News_Special_Olympics_World_Games-Article_Image_1.jpg To celebrate its 13-year long partnership with Special Olympics and the close of the Special Olympics World Games 2015, Essilor hosted a reception at the Marshall B Ketchum University in L.A.  Tim Shriver, Chairman of Special Olympics, thanked Essilor for the support of both the Foundation and Essilor laboratories around the world and offered a special plaque in recognition of Essilor volunteers and the eyewear donations that have helped over 150,000 athletes to see well for the first time.
